Waguih William IsHak, MD is Director of the Psychiatry Residency Training
Program and Interim Medical Director of Outpatient Psychiatry Services at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. IsHak previously served as Associate Director of the Psychiatry Residency Training Program in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University
(NYU) School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City.
Dr. IsHak received his medical education and his preliminary psychiatric training at Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. After a residency and chief residency in psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine, he completed an academic psychiatry fellowship and an administrative psychiatry fellowship at NYU.
