A support program for individuals with early stage memory loss and their care partners.
The goal of the Memory Club is to provide a safe environment to share experiences and ask questions, develop friendships and have an opportunity to talk with others about the experience of memory loss. The Memory Club is designed to meet the needs of both the individual with memory loss and a family member or friend. Groups meet weekly for 10 sessions and aim to empower the entire family through knowledge, support and a sense of community. This nonsectarian program is generously hosted by Wilshire Boulevard Temple and is facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Association of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. If you face questions like “Is this the right experience for my husband or wife, or my parents?”, don’t hesitate to call Rabbi Karen L. Fox at (213) 388-2401.
