Our Programs

Programs for Young People - Girls
“The mind's highest good is the knowledge of God, and the mind's highest virtue is to know God.”
-Baruch Spinoza, "Ethics"

Wilshire Boulevard Temple aims to create a community where people feel deeply connected to one another, to the congregation, and to Jewish life. The programs that we offer exemplify the diverse interests and ages of our community members, designed for life-long Jewish enrichment.

Worship and Spirituality

“While praying, listen to the words very carefully. When your heart is attentive, your entire being enters your prayer without your having to force it.”

-Rebbe Nachman of Breslov

We gather together at Wilshire Boulevard Temple in congregational worship to seek God’s presence, to share our lives as Jews and to be part of the community of Israel. Some are seeking to discover, some to rediscover, all to experience the richness of our Jewish heritage. Because people come to Wilshire Boulevard Temple from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and lifestyles, our worship services offer diversity in location, time and style, blending the traditional with the contemporary in prayer and song.
