Birthdays & Anniversaries

Regular Shabbat services offer clergy the opportunity to bless congregants celebrating special milestones.

Judaism sanctifies time, teaching us to express gratitude for the gifts of life and love. Our clergy marks those gifts by offering special blessings to adult members celebrating birthdays or wedding anniversaries numbered in multiples of five. In advance of the occasion, celebrants receive letters inviting them to be called to the bimah at the closest convenient Kabbalat Shabbat or Shabbat morning service at either the Temple or our Irmas Campus.
