Soul Sounds Shabbat has been a smashing success from its inception in 2004. Employing a new approach to the worship experience, Soul Sounds opens the doors to contemporary worship through musical presentation and congregational singing. Keyboard, percussion, electric guitars , violin and cello fill the chapel with a rich, vibrant resonance—all blending with Cantor Gurney to create what is now the Soul Sounds trademark. This is a worship experience for all ages. Soul Sounds Shabbat is offered at 6:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month at the Audrey and Sydney Irmas Campus and one Friday a month at the Temple Campus.
