A Special Welcome from Rabbi Steven Z. Leder
We like to think of Wilshire Boulevard Temple as our own very special Jewish village. As the oldest and one of the most prestigious synagogues in Southern California, our mission has always been to lead our members to a deeper love of Torah, God, Israel and tikkun olam (social justice).
Through our nursery, elementary and religious schools, our camps, our adult programs and worship, we foster an inclusive, embracing Reform congregation. The individuals and families who join us enjoy many opportunities to experience the pride, warmth and meaning of belonging to our Jewish community.
At our historic Erika J. Glazer Family Campus,* our modern Irmas Campus and our summer camps and conference center, we offer facilities and programs to enrich Jewish life.
We are blessed with an extraordinary staff of caring and inspiring clergy, along with other professionals who have made enhancing our members’ Jewish journey their life’s work.
Since its founding in 1862 when Abraham Lincoln was President, to today and for generations to come, our Temple has been and always will remain devoted to our Jewish community.
We welcome you, and invite you to join us and explore all we have to offer.
Rabbi Steven Z. Leder
