Women of Wilshire (WOW) Welcomes New Leadership

Cindy Feder and Marnie Bodek had a shared idea a few years back: that women over the age of 50 want to connect with new and old friends and that they’d like their lives to be enriched by intellectual, cultural, and social activities. Anxious parents and excited youngsters—or the other way around—anticipated what camp would be like this summer, as it would be the first time in the past 67 years that Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps would be someplace other than Yerba Buena Road and Pacific Coast Highway. While parents took pictures and children waved good-bye, finishing touches were still in the works on the campus of Cal State Channel Islands.
