Book Mavens: Author Nessa Rapoport in Conversation with Tom Teiholz

Author Nessa Rapoport, in conversation with Tom Teicholz, discusses her new novel, Evening on Wednesday, September 30 at 5:00 P.M.

In crystalline prose, Evening delves into the paradoxes of love, ambition, siblings, and the way the past continues to inflect the present, sometimes against our will. The novel has received rave reviews in Vogue, Glamour, Haaretz, and The Globe and Mail.

NESSA RAPOPORT is the author of a novel, Preparing for Sabbath, and a collection of prose poems, A Woman's Book of Grieving, as well as the travel memoir "House on the River." Her essays and reviews have appeared in The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. She lives in New York with her husband, artist Tobi Kahn.
