Special Chanukah Screening: Heading Home: The Story of Team Israel

Join Rabbi Susan Nanus and Cantor Don Gurney for an exclusive WBT screening of this inspiring documentary about the underdog journey of Israel's national baseball team, composed of mostly American Jewish ball players who are recruited to compete for the first time in the World Baseball Classic. The team laughs, cries, and rediscovers their Jewish identity and the pride of representing Israel on the world stage.

For those who register, a link will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday to watch the screening beforehand and then join us at 8:00 p.m. for candle-lighting and a Q&A with Jeremy Neuberger, one of the filmmakers. Look for an email on Saturday that will contain the email and password to access the film.
