Koleinu Shabbat with Rabbi Nickerson and Cantor Peicott at Glazer Campus

As Summer comes to a close, we are again approaching the start of a Jewish New Year. This weekend we began the Jewish month of Elul. The rabbis of our tradition ask each one of us to do what's called a "Cheshbon Hanefesh during this time; an accounting of our souls, as we approach the holy days and a season of return. Rabbi Joel and Cantor Lisa would like to invite you to begin to open your heart with the music of Koleinu THIS Friday, September 2nd, as we celebrate Shabbat, and begin to explore the themes of the High Holy Days together.

We're also offering a pre-service 'happy hour' with drinks (including a specialty Rosh Hashanah-themed cocktail!), some food, and a chance to hang out with others in our temple community.

Here are the details:

6:00 p.m. - 'Happy Hour' reception

7:00 p.m. - Shabbat service in the sanctuary
