Koleinu at the Mountain

Join Rabbi Joel and Cantor Lisa for a special Koleinu Shabbat celebrating the Festival Holiday of Shavuot. Shavuot celebrates the moment when the Israelites received Torah and the 10 Commandments at Mt. Sinai. Traditionally this holiday celebrates learning with an all night study, the consumption of dairy, and honors all those who chose to convert to Judaism and be a part of the Jewish community.

Eat, pray, and celebrate Shabbat and Shavuot with us!

6:00 p.m. - Shabbat Services with special stories of self discovery with our WBT Choosing Judaism Alumni
7:00 p.m. - Dessert Buffet and Drinks
7:45 p.m. - Shavuot Learning Sessions:

There is a tradition on Shavuot to stay up all night and study Torah in anticipation of receiving Torah at Mt Sinai. Our version of "all night" will be around 9:30 p.m.

1. Shavuot Sounds: Come and soak in a sound bath and guided meditation with Deb Levy and Cantor Shapiro. Our experience will take us through sounds and feelings of revelation as we evoke the experience of Sinai. Please wear flexible, comfortable, warm clothing and bring your own yoga mat and blanket.

2. Torah at the Table: Join Rabbi Joel for a late night Torah study session. Finally a chance to learn all of the stories they didnt teach you in Religious School.
