Cantor Peicott's High Holy Days Reflection

Cantor Peicott's High Holy Days Reflection

The "days of awe" are a soulful reminder that nobody is perfect, nor are we expected to be, BUT, we can always strive to be better. The nostalgic melodies, the poetic liturgy of the Mahzor, our High Holy Day prayers book, are all meant to trigger moments of deep introspection and self reflection in each of us. Our HHD liturgy talks about listening to the "still small voice" inside. I call it the G-d voice. The deep rooted core of who we all want to be, and who we each can be with a little work; divine individuals filled with compassion, grace, mercy and love.
