University Presidents: Act Against Antisemitism
Since Hamas’ terror attack against Israelis on October 7, Jewish and pro-Israel students have been subjected to horrifying antisemitism, including:
- Violent threats to shoot Jewish students and bomb the school’s Jewish center were sent to Hillel at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York
- Swastikas and a Nazi slogan were graffitied on Jewish students dorm rooms at American University in Washington, D.C.
- A pro-Israel student was physically attacked by anti-Israel protesters for trying to prevent the burning of an Israeli flag at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana
- Messages glorifying Hamas and calling for the destruction of Israel were projected on the side of a university building at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
- Jewish students were trapped in the school library as an anti-Israel mob waited outside at Cooper Union College in New York City
- Anti-Israel propaganda and misinformation covered every single seat in a lecture hall at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois
