Torah Study

The Torah is the essential backbone of our Jewishness. But what does it say? What does it mean? How do we learn from it? These are the same questions our ancestors have contemplated for generations.Wilshire Boulevard Temple offers a variety of ways to glean deeper meaning and understanding from the scrolls that serve as the basis of our religion, traditions, and culture.

Unless otherwise noted, there is always a Torah study session Saturday morning at the Glazer campus at 9:00 a.m. Please see the Shabbat service calendar for details. In the event that there is no service, it will appear on the calendar as "No Service".

Weekly Torah Study

The Torah is the essential backbone of our Jewishness. But what does it say? What does it mean? How to we learn from it? These are the same questions our ancestors have contemplated for generations. To glean deeper meaning and understanding from the scrolls that serve as the basis of our religion, traditions, and culture, join our rabbis, cantors, and teachers every Saturday in an exploration of the words, phrases, concepts, and beliefs of our tradition. No prior Torah study experience or Hebrew skills are needed.
