Disaster Response
When natural disasters strike, we want to help.
While financial donations are essential, more help is needed. That’s why we have developed a Disaster Response Team so we can be on the ground in the days and weeks after a disaster, responding in a meaningful way to the needs of those affected.
We have also had groups respond to floods in Colorado, South Carolina, Louisiana, a tornado in Mississippi, and the hurricane that hit Houston. In the wake of Super Storm Sandy, a small team from the Temple traveled to New York to aid in the relief efforts.
Stay tuned for information about future trips and our preparedness trainings.
